Buffalo Grass Seed Is Great!

Reader Comment : I just wanted to chime in on this site and tell you guys that I decided not to plant Common Bermuda grass in my pasture this year and went with Buffalo grass seed instead.

It was a little harder to get the seed to germinate, since my soil is compact and harder than most soils so I had to scratch the surface then sow the seeds.

I also watered for 6 days until I started to see the seedling show, then backed off to water only every 3 days and it seemed to work just fine.

I have been told that Buffalo grass can handle the heat better than Bermuda, so I guess I will see if that is true or not.

Any info or comments about this would be helpful to me so please post your comments below if you have any.  BTW.  I got the best deal on Buffalo grass seed from the links you guys had posted on this site…so thanks!
